our group of 6 artists have just had the third in the series of meetings at 25 Stratford Grove.
We lost one artist, John MacLean and acquired another one, Sally Madge.
Today we took the discussions forward to include a visit to the Laing Gallery to look at a piece of installation, performance and then back to Stratford Grove to make some work with a tape recorder and a digital camera. it felt good to begin to actually engage with each other performatively. Some ideas were generated for group work. Mainly at this stage we are building relations between each other with a view to collaborating in Istanbul.
Arts Council response to our funding will come in on 20th February.
Fingers crossed.
